Healthy Hair and Hide is designed specifically for show livestock. This dye-free concentrate helps control dandruff and dry skin while restoring the natural oils essential for a healthy hide.
We primarily use this product once we have sheared cattle for slick shear shows. It does a great job of conditioning the hide without making cattle hot or greasy like some conditioners can.
How We Use It
- After rinsing our slick calf, we let them dry about halfway
- Fill a spray bottle with 1/3 Healthy Hair and Hide and 2/3 water
- Spray the entire calf with a light mist (not a direct squirt)
- Brush it in with a soft-bristled brush (like the Horse Hair Brush)
Before showing your slick shear calf, always be sure to wash out all products from their hide according to your show’s rules.
